Teacher Jennifer, Director
Jennifer joined Patti’s in 2019 as a full-time teacher but was previously part of the Patti’s family as substitute teacher, and parent board member after her youngest child became a Patti’s student in 2015. Jennifer is a CA credentialed teacher who began teaching Elementary English Immersion in 1998 and then gained a love of early childhood education when her older children joined a co-op preschool. She loves seeing how children grow and develop peer relationships during their time at Patti’s and feels proud to be a part of that journey. When not at Patti’s, Jennifer can be found trying to keep up with her active 8-year-old or texting her two teenagers in the optimistic hope that one of them will reply this time. In her spare time, she enjoys following cooking and early-education blogs, walking the MI trails with a friend, family time, and volunteering with her children’s schools and activities.

Teacher Michelle, Assistant Director
Michelle joined Patti’s for the 2014-15 school year. She brings more than 15 years of experience in early learning and child development in the USA and UK. Born in Seattle, Michelle attended Mercer Island High School and has a BA in Fine Arts from Washington State University, specializing in ceramics. Michelle recently returned from Edinburgh, Scotland and resides on Mercer Island with her husband. Michelle also is setting up her own pottery practice and studio. In her spare time — she enjoys hiking, camping and cooking.
